Your novels in every single thread are tiresome and annoying. Have a good night! Once Upon a One More Time to Marquis

I hope they do something with the auditorium like with Follies. (or better, Moulin Rouge!)

I really have nothing useful to add to what was already said. I will say however, I am a huge Britney fan.  I am 31 years old and she was a HUGE part of my childhood. As a theater fan as well, this has me extremely excited. It may bomb, who knows.  But I am honestly ready for a fun night out with my friends to relive a huge part of our lives.

Also, as a theater fan, I admit that I am one of the people who often complained about jukebox and bio-musicals. But I am starting to get it.  This is what these shows do for others and the joy it brings, and I am here for it. I hope it's good quality of course. Fingers crossed!  SO, SO, SO EXCITED!

I saw her in Vegas for my 30th bday. Big fan.

And same director as Rock of Ages, so I think if they can turn this into an event or just a fun night out with drinks etc, it’ll do well!

The Cher Show and Aint Too Proud have given me faith. I’m willing to give this show a chance.

Jarethan said: "I know a lot of Cher songs, Abba songs, Temptation songs, Tina songs, Summer songs, 4 Seasons songs, Carole King songs, etc. Here is my question: does Britney Spears have enough songs that are good enough to anchor a big Broadway show at Broadway prices? I have to admit that I am really surprised, especially since it is apparently not a biographical show where they can insert songs anywhere, but have to fit them at the appropriate moment in the show.

Actually, I'd say yes. While she doesn't exactly have "story" songs, her catalog (for a pop singer) features a lot of songs that are more specific than other pop artists. It's not just a bunch of vague, generic love songs. Lucky, Stronger, Circus, Womanizer, Toxic... There's plenty of material if they know how to use it. It would also help if they were willing to mash up songs.

My issue is that the fairytale thing is about as played out as musicals about Alice in Wonderland and plays/musicals that claim to be feminist/empowering usually end up being cringey.

So, another jukebox show in a barn - and this barn in particular?  I hope the "Rialto chatter" is just that.  Otherwise, I think this will be yet another flop at the Marquis...
