I was thinking about this production the other day. Why have all the actors playing all the roles? Are they making it like, a musical revue type thing? Why not just, you know, do the show as written? I mean, go nuts with set and costume design, orchestrations, whatever...but you have to draw the line somewhere. I can't believe the Loesser estate is allowing this. I guess it doesn't get produced that often anymore and they are hoping this will revive interest in it?
I was holding off taking a friend to Moulin Rouge as I didn't want to pay the price for seeing it a third time. I know it is January but shocked at how many tickets are available this week. I ended up purchasing Orchestra seats for Thurs Mat Row H Center for 129.00 each before service charges.

You forgot a word. The official billing from MTI and the Encores production is FRANK LOESSER'S MUSICAL THE MOST HAPPY FELLA. Getting a little ridiculous.
As for the casting breakdown/concept, I would suggest that we wait to see what actually happens when it's on stage. This seems like something that will be largely developed in the rehearsal room and in workshops.
