Pop-up Videos

Is there a way on an iPhone in Safari to get rid of these pop-up website videos that auto-play. Even on BWW every single time I go to the home page it pops up, when I click to read a thread the video pops up after the thread loads, and when I return to the homepage the video pops up again. Dozens and dozens of times a day. Its truly annoyingly frustrating.

Yes, SERIOUSLY. Or I wouldn’t have taken the time to post this. Right now it’s a pop-up video of Top 5’s. Before it’s been BWW videos on something or other. It’s takes up over an inch and a half square on my phone’s bottom right corner, blocks me from being able to read what’s under it unless I hit the X and delete it, and it is very intrusive. If I read multiple threads it pops up every time on every thread, even on separate pages within the same thread, and then pops back up with I go back to the main page. If I switch from the Main Board to the Off Topic Board it continues to do the same thing, on every thread and every page within every thread.

Ya honestly BWW is there anyway we can stop this? Your website is becoming insufferable.

Agreed. The pop-up videos are beyond annoying along with the excessive ads make this site very slow and hard to navigate. I understand that's how BWW pays for things, but it's very much out of control.

Yes, SERIOUSLY as in I agree with you and I can’t handle much more of those damn pop up videos.

This website was created before smartphones existed. It's designed for computers, where it works the best. I know that's not everyone's reality, but when you are on a computer, clicking on a very small window in the bottom corner isn't a huge deal. It also helps if you have Adblock, or some kind of other software for annoying pops on the web. In the new year, I hope they work on their app so it's not this huge pain in the ass, though.

But, now that I know it's not, I agree with all of this.

I agree with this as well. I am getting them through Google Chrome on a Samsung Galaxy though.
