Saw this in LA in late October and was blown away! A fantastic production:)
The choreography had a very modern/interpretive dance feel to it which I don't personally care for, but that's a taste thing on my part and it was technically well done. Musically it was amazing, with very strong singers and instrumentation that seems very heavily inspired by the concept album, which is a plus for me.

Since the show is only 90 minutes with no intermission I’m looking at trying to buy another ticket while it’s up in Pittsburgh. Keeping my eye open on the very limited availability to see if any front orchestra or front balcony seats open up for that weekend.

In what world is JCS 90 mins without intermission?

Every theater on the tour is listing it as -
Run Time: 90 minutes with no intermission

Interesting. They must have cut something to fit it into a one-act. Anyone who has seen it know what they cut/have a song list?
First off, it's an equity tour.
Also, it doesn't surprise me that there's no intermission. It isn't a long show. If memory serves the UK arena tour preformed it without one. But, typically the act one closer is Damned For All Time/Blood Money. However, the entire running time of the show is about an hour and forty min. So it can be. I don't know the history of the show too well to know if it's common or not.

No cuts, but it did go pretty quickly from song to song.

How fascinating. I've never seen it done as a one act.

Watch Pittsburgh's seating maps in the days surrounding the event. Usually some good ones pop up then,or the morning-of.
I've even called the box office as soon as they open, while I'm driving to Pittsburgh for a matinee, and have had good luck being able to pay to upgrade my seat if they've opened any up. Their box office staff are so helpful (PlayhouseSquare's staff could learn a few things from them).
Unfortunately JCS is in town during a busy week for me, so I'll be catching this one in Cleveland in March.
Let us know how you like it!
Dr. Jennifer Rinaldi will live on forever. Someone get her a Tony.
I have the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust page for JCS earmarked on my iPhone’s Home Screen.
