I really loved his work. Norma Rae comes to mind. Did anyone ever work with him? RIP Ron.

Was lucky enough to see him in Angels. He truly set the bar for all Roy Cohns who have followed. Incredible performance.

Never on stage but he was memorable on film such as Slaughterhouse Five and, of course, Where's Poppa?

I met him once in the early 90s when I was working in theater. He was very kind to me. RIP.

A brilliant actor -- his performances in Angels are unforgettable. He was also excellent as Shylock at the Public.

Then, of course, there was his leading role in Up The Academy (1980).
He managed to have his name removed from the credits.

I'm pretty sure I saw him in either Part 1 or 2.  The other would have been F Murray Abraham.  I saw both during Tony week, so I'm not sure why F Murray Abraham would have already taken over the part, that soon.  Can anyone refresh my memory?  I remember him being really nice at the stage door.

He was first married to Linda Lavin until they divorced in 1981. Did they ever perform together ?

An episode of Law & Order, "House Counsel", was on today with both Ron Leibman and Jessica Walter.  Both were brilliant, a true power couple of actors.

Within days of each other, actress Linda Lavin lost her first husband  (1969-81) and her TV son (actor Philip McKeon passed away on December 10 ar the age of 55 - he played her son 'Tommy' from 1976-85).
