This is a crazy story:

I've got a diabetic cousin who has never had trouble explaining to an usher why she has food with her in case of an emergency. Based on all of this woman's lawsuits it sounds like she wanted settlements more than a solution?

Oh, definitely, she was seemingly looking to make some bank. A shame that many other places settled with her.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

What a bottom feeder!! I wish they countersued or the judge awarded legal fees to the defendant. She's also wasting the court's time with these frivolous lawsuits.

People like this are definitely why we can’t have nice things and also makes it harder for those that truly need, seek and are granted accommodations.

Legal system manipulation that has gone on for decades. I also hope the judge is able and does award attorneys fees. There has to be some downside for people to reconsider such frivolous lawsuits.

I was thinking the same thing re. legal fees. Not sure how the law works!

Also, I feel bad for all of those firms that settled. The whole thing is ridiculous!
