In regards to voting for the Broadway World 2019 Regional Awards voting, why does one have to go through all 20+ categories and register a profile in order to submit their one vote? You're really not making it easy for people to campaign for their nomination.
AND...luckily I just checked my spam box and found an email from Broadway World asking for me to confirm my vote. Is this system for real?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I agree, seems more of a popularity contest vs. talent above all others. One doesn’t have to have actually seen the performance to vote.
There Should at least be some criteria For the voting. I.e. have you seen this production; have you seen this actors’ performance in this production, and have you seen the other actors performances this actor is competing against?
