An hour and a half? (Maybe that's the length of all podcasts -- but I'm old, so I woudn't know!)
I love Broadway Breakdown in general and was hooting with laughter for much of this one.
Also, I mentioned it in other threads, so I'm glad someone else started one since everyone seemed to be ignoring me.
Speaking of BWW getting attention, anyone know what prompted this?

The only thing I could think of is a debate over the whole Rhianna texting thing?
Anyone have another link to the podcast? Don't have apple and for some reason the link isn't working for me. Not sure if its an apple thing or the link or my computer itself but id love to give this a listen as a lurker/poster for the last 10 or so years. Posting not as long, but I've lurked before I posted.

I know that feeling, I had a thread for about three years talking about Sleep No More and then it finally opened in New York and somebody started a new thread "Sleep No More is AMAZING!" and that's when people decided to join in! I never felt so Jan Brady before that.

Thank you! Im curious of the perspective of this board. For me, as someone who's addmitedley taken part in some of the drama here, I in general find this board a mixed bag. There are a LOT of nasty posters on here, to the point its intimidating to post sometimes. Thats wrong and just toxic. However there are also a lot of really helpful posters when trying to find out new shows, offerings I may have not been aware of being outside of NYC, getting early reviews on shows, met some very friendly posters on here, etc. I in general view it positively as I clearly keep coming back. Ive spent a lot of time lately trying to call out trolls or the unwanted sass around here but I've learned I just contribute to the issue. As long as things mainly stay Broadway focused this place is good.
Although sometimes at the end of the day, we're all deeply invested in the arts and can be diva's in our own way. Happens to the best of us.

Ha! I have not listened yet, but glad I have a clear understanding lol. I think reasonably thats how most people here would feel. Ive learned you can't feed the trolls, which I've failed at before but ya as long as you ask mainly theatre related things typically things do not get out of hand.

Namo, you're back! Were you ever gone?
Either way, I am so very glad to see you posting here.

Maybe he finally got around to reading the threads on his terrible show?
This podcast was fun, but neither the male or female was all that great at speaking without saying "um" or pausing a lot, and it was entirely too long. But, the WSS revival and Mean Girls issues talk was pretty funny.
I just listened to the Podcast and I'm not just saying this because Matt name checked me and said he really liked me (Ok, maybe I am a bit), but I really loved it. Brought back a lot of good memories for me listening to it. <3
Not sure that was a good use of time, two people reading and saying things most people on here already know...
Well, I thought it was fun. And Matt, if you're reading this - anyone who says their favorite musical is "Tuck Everlasting" deserves to be ridiculed.

What does Spring Awakening have to do with it and he should check his spelling and grammar before posting. And there are proud black people on these boards, He is a little late with that.
Going to listen to the podcast now.

Snip

I think in the thread about Inheritance, someone commented unfavourably about his twitter picture showing his opening night "lewk."
Probably cared more about that, over any comments about his play.

There was a comment about indifference or disdain toward his audience and peers in that thread as well, because his hour-long Bushwick Star show started an hour late because he was at the Inheritance opening.
I respect him and his work enough, but sort of sad to see him have to post stuff like this for validation.
