Im headed to NYC next weekend to catch some shows (yay!). Im thinking of trying to rush Freestyle Love Supreme for the 10:00 PM show on either Saturday or Sunday night. Im seeing Sound Inside at 8:00 on Saturday and Moulin Rouge at 7:00 PM on Sunday. Both are scheduled to end around 9:30/9:35 and would give me about 30 minutes to get to the Booth. My gut is to go Saturday night because intermission at MR could go over, etc., but Studio 54 is further from the Booth than the Hirschfeld is. I just wanted to get your opinions/experiences! Thanks!
I would be scared to try to make it after MR. I've heard it runs more like 2:45 and you'd have to rush out since the theater is larger and would take longer to empty. But of course, you've got the ten blocks to cover from Studio 54 after Sound Inside.
BTW, I am also seeing MR next Sunday evening.

As you pointed out, you might be a bit more rushed coming from Sound Inside than you would be coming from Moulin Rouge. But at the end of the day, you won't have any trouble making it to FLS on time, regardless of which show you choose.
So ultimately, I'd say go with whichever show you are more interested in seeing.
EDIT: Just saw the post above. I saw Moulin Rouge after opening and it definitely didn't run that long. Not sure what would account for the show extending 10-15 minutes after it's frozen. Unless the intermission has just gotten REALLY long.
I did this last weekend with a different show. FLS was so funny, try to go after both if you can. I wish I could have ended each night of my trip with a FLS nightcap.

This. I went to Freestyle Love Supreme 10:00 pm on my last trip as kinda a "shrug, if they have $40 rush tickets I might as well check it out" - I left going "why have I been missing this all weekend!?"
If you go the first night you'll want to go back the next! And you might get different cameos each night too.
I think you should be fine at either, but you’ll have a much brisker walk down to the Booth after Sound Inside, whereas the Hirschfeld is just a block over so even if MR got out at 9:50 (it doesn’t) your still have a solid 10+ minutes to walk just across the street. You’ll definitely be out of MR before 9:45, though.
I'd vote after Moulin Rouge for sure. Trying to walk from Studio 54 to the Booth in 20 minutes on an empty street? Very doable. Trying to walk from Studio 54 to the Booth in 20 minutes at 9:40 on a Saturday night in the heart of Times Square? Still doable, but you're going to be way more rushed and stressed and having to push a lot more people out of the way. But as others have pointed out, even if Moulin Rouge happens to go until 9:50 for some reason, you'll still have plenty of time.
Thanks for the replies, everyone! I’ll shoot for Sunday night post-Rouge, if I don’t see it both nights. The whole area will probably be less crowded then due to the dearth of Sunday evening shows.
Hicaesar, I’m kind of in your first boat on FLS. The reviews and response here have me intrigued, albeit still not enough to pay full Broadway price. Looking forward to it!
Carolinaguy: small world! I’m in orchestra Row R if we have time to say hi!
I did this a couple of weeks ago (MR at 7pm, FLS 10pm Sunday) and had zero problems getting to the Booth on time when MR let out of the theater. I was even back of the Mezz for MR for what it's worth. Helps that both theaters are just a block away from each other. Studio 54 is much farther though so I'd say do it on Sunday night.
Throw in a Sunday matinee and make it an awesome theater day. Have fun.

Thank you! Yes, I also have tickets for Tina Friday night, Saturday matinee of Seared, and Sunday matinee of Little Shop (Glick’s last performance). Will be a great theater weekend!
