Is anyone else attending An Evening with Rita Moreno this Saturday in Los Angeles? I'm happy to see the show is sold out in their main theatre. If not, has anyone seen her solo show recently and could share any insight into what to expect? I'm looking forward to it!
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
Seems to be her one woman show that presenters can book.

I saw her a few years back with our local orchestra. She was incandescent. She told stories, sang many songs including two from Sunset in which she donned a turban and acted the hell out of them. I’d have killed to see her as Norma. She had limitless energy and her voice was incredible. A true living legend.
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
So happy I went! She was in great form and gave us a wonderful show. She's a captivating story teller and chose great songs (not that I can remember the set list). The audience was packed with Hollywood legends and smart fans who got tickets early enough. I would see her again should the opportunity present itself!
