Female and/or UK version of Republicans by William Finn

Anyone know of a song similar to Republicans by William Finn that's lyrically more suited to a lady? I'm thinking lines like "I'm in him a Republican" might require too much of a mental journey to "well I suppose it could be pegging" if sung by a woman. Or something similar with references more recognisable to a UK audience, or just something with a similar humour to it that could be sung by a woman... ¯\_(°~°_/¯ Many thanks :)
