Jagged Little Pill Holding Back seats?

Hi everyone:

I'm looking to grab some seats for JLP 11-27 Evening.

Right now the closest I can find is F 14,16 in the orch for $119 (not a bad price).

Do you think they will release closer seats as the date nears? (I haven't been following hot good this is or is not selling). Or should. just accept that this is the best I will get at regular non premium price and get these now.

I'm trying to be as close as possible for this one. (I was spoiled in Boston with Row D for $15)

Can't say for sure but that is the night before Thanksgiving. Possible that the seats are sold. People will be in that week for the holiday.

How did you get tickets for $15 there. The cheapest were $25

They had $15 student tix with a membership and when I got them they were doing some kind of free membership promo and waiving the $10 fee

Please don't pay for any form of premium seating for Jagged Little Pill, friends.

FYI-Previews Only...Cool just booked 2 seats  - center mezzanine row F $79...$92.95 w/fees ...cheap and the mezzanie is terrifc at the Broadhurst!

Every show holds back seats, since they need to ensure that if their premium seats sell, they can add more.. so it is just a game as to whether they will have enough to sell at premium prices, or whether you will benefit from them having held back more than they can sell at that price.

If they do add them, they will usually only be regular price, in the same area as the other premiums, and not benefit from online discounts (but could show up at TKTS). So it is a dice roll, and could cost you more...

The best thing to do, if that is the only time you can go, is buy the best seats you can now. And if more amazing seats open up, call Telecharge and ask them to move you to those newer seats. That said, it will not be a plain old transfer. They will refund your old order and create a new one. Typically, it has to be for seats the same price or higher. If the show sells worse, and they add more seats at cheaper prices, then I'm not sure what happens. Perhaps you can move closer, but not at a cheaper rate?! Never encountered that one...
