Posted: 10/29/19 at 12:43amHi, everyone! I am a senior in university, and wanted to come here to ask for suggestions with regard to my senior project (I am a musical theatre director). Does anyone have thoughts on short (no longer than 90 minutes) musicals or plays that might be great that I have not heard of? Please help, thank you for sharing your brilliant minds in advance!

Your text says 'or plays', but your title stated musicals - so here's a possibly play for you
Midsummer's/Jersey - an updated take on Midsummer Night's Dream meets the Jersey Shore. Really fun, really adorbs.

The Band's Visit may have advertised a 90 minute run time, but I was at that theatre for many a performance and it clocked in much closer to 100 minutes. Though of course it's kind of a moot point, since I doubt that the rights would be available in time for this senior project that prompted this thread.

Murder for Two. A 90 minute murder mystery show written for two piano-playing actors, where one plays the inspector and the other plays all 13 suspects.
