an october release feels a little early, but that's just me. i am one of those people who doesn't listen to christmas music until december. BUT can we talk about the insane note she reaches at the end of O Holy Night please. White Christmas with Darren Criss and Angels We Have Heard on High with Cynthia Erivo is so good. i'm curious about how others feel, thoughts?
I was given an early release copy; when I awoke Thursday morning, all my decorations (which I keep in the garage) had been stuffed up my chimbly and stolen. And when I checked my fridge, the roast beast and Who hash had been taken too.
Bottom line: do not accept the Lea Michele Christmas album into your homes or lives. It is the Ouija board of Christmas albums and the blood-pentagram of holiday entertainment.
Holiday albums come out this early because radio stations begin programming their playlists, TV specials are getting booked and filming, etc. Idina's came out last week, Ana Gasteyer's this week, too. Pentatonix's came out recently, too, I believe.
I really enjoy Idina's rendition of "O Holy Night" off her new holiday album, not to mention her new version of "Seasons of Love" and "At This Table," which she wrote.
I'll have to check out Lea's soon.

Why would you purposefully invite that evil into you? You might as well listen yo an audio book of the Devil himself reading the Necronomicon, while sacrificing a goat on top of a Ouija board.

My ex-girlfriend lost her parents in a hit and run earlier this month. When police caught the car speeding away from the scene, the driver turned out to be a copy of the Lea Michele Christmas Album, driving a car on the power of pure spite alone.
