Is there any significant advantage to going to the Times Square booth rather than Lincoln center in terms of discounts or availability? Trying to make a last minute BEETLEJUICE happen.

I don't think you'll have an issue getting Beetlejuice at either booth. Before the Tonys, the Lincoln Center booth would sometimes have Hadestown and it wasn't necessarily available at Times Square. I'd recommend going to the Lincoln Center booth because the line isn't as long.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

The big advantage with Lincoln Center is there's usually never a line. And it's inside. You can always buy evening tickets starting at noon. Can't do that at the Times Square one until 2pm or 3pm.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

For what it's worth, I bought THE PROM matinee tix at LC the day before -- They were last row Orch. against the wall.

At the performance, I heard a group in front and to the center of us saying they had bought theirs at TS day of. I still loved the show, though, and keep going back to LC for the convenience.

Yeah, also an advantage with Lincoln Center (& the Seaport) is buying next day matinee tickets.

The TKTS mobile app will show you what's for sale that day.

I usually buy at TKTS Times Square only because I’m usually closer to it, especially if I’m picking up a last minute ticket before a show. Plus, I find the lines move pretty quickly. Quicker usually than the time it would take to walk to Lincoln Center and back. Even with the advantage of being inside the TKTS LC building during inclement/sweltering weather, you’d still have to walk to LC in that same weather. Even taking the subway requires a little of walking each way which isn’t ideal if weather is bad or time is of the essence. It’s really an individual preference and depends on which location is closer to you and your show, and which location’s times work best for you.

Being able to buy matinee tickets the day before is certainly enticing. I think I did that once before at the Seaport location (that was before the Lincoln Center location opened).

But as has been mentioned, same day offerings are pretty much identical across the three locations. The TKTS app gives you a live update of what’s available at each location in addition to the amount of discount and price(s).

One thing people sometimes forget or don’t know is if you buy a ticket at TKTS that entitles you to “bump” the line if you return within the next 7 days. Just present your previous TKTS ticket to one of the TKTS representatives managing the line and they’ll move you to the front.

Also, at Times Square there is a separate shorter line for plays (as opposed to musicals).

Enjoy!

Lincoln Center is definitely faster.  I like TKTS for last minute shopping because it's so close to so many of the theaters.

ONLY if you are getting same-day matinee tickets before Noon, as TS opens earlier, or same-day evening tickets after 6:50PM / 7:50PM as Lincoln Center is too far away 10 minutes before curtain.
