I agree with Reeve!
I wouldn’t mind if the revival was the same as the Stratford production which was basically the same as the original with updated tech as mentioned above. I appreciated that since I didn’t get to see the original production.
Also, as far as I know, the Stratford production did not include Tommy hugging and forgiving Uncle Ernie as someone described of the original production. In Stratford Uncle Ernie leaned in for a hug and Tommy kept his arms at his side and refused to embrace his uncle.
