HI All,

Looking for an affordable ticket to The Sound Inside.  TodayTix lottery seems to be the only rush option available.  That's $43 with fees. Not bad.

Are there other rush seats available?

Has anyone tried the today tix rush?  Where have then seats been?  I would hate to get stuck in the rear mezz of that cavernous theater for a more intimate show.

Any experiences or recommendations are welcome.

Thank you

Unfortunately, I believe the digitial rush seats are in the rear mezzanine, unless they’ve changed it from a couple weeks ago (a friend got tickets that way and told me)

They put me in the 4th row of the rear mezz. Yeah, legroom sucked but I was on the aisle so it wasn't as bad. Once the play started and I got so completely and utterly pulled in, the seat location and distance from the stage became a non issue. I'm sure they have decent orchestra seats at TKTS but you'll pay double the rush price. You've got to decide if it's worth it to you.

Studio 54 really is a bit too big for this play, but boy oh boy do the text and these actors FILL that space.

I just did the TodayTix rush and was indeed in the rear mezz.  I was row 2 or 3 on the aisle and it was a wonderful, clear view.  I was a little worried about distance with this being such an intimate play, but I could still see faces just fine.  I agree with the above, you will get so sucked in it won't matter.  That being said, I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be any further back.  So, if you don't want to risk a "bad" seat then definitely plan accordingly!  If not, the rush will be great!
