I got a chance to talk with her after her show in NOLA tonight and she said she has a huge announcement coming in about two weeks. Any ideas on what this could be?!

Not sure but she did a reading of a Matthew Lombardo play a few weeks ago. Maybe that will go to Broadway instead of Tea at Five.

Unless she's joining The Music Man and then ticket prices will become astronomically high. ...I don't know where I get this stuff. That seems the most likely (the Disney concert, not what I said).

I've never seen BEAUTY AND THE BEAST the Broadway musical, but I don't think I'd be very interested in seeing Beth in that. But Beth in GYPSY would be *AMAZING*. I've seen little clips of her doing it at the MUNY (summer 2018) and it looked fantastic. Or I'd be very excited to see her in a brand new show.

We saw her in Gypsy at the Muny and she was AMAZING. We had to leave town the following day, otherwise I would have gone back to see the production again immediately. I'd travel anywhere to see her in this again.

It's interesting how Beth has become a "name" on Broadway in the last 15 years.  I saw her in the revival of 42nd Street as Dorothy Brock in 2002.  I had no idea who she was but she stole the show, and I mean completely.  I looked her up after that just to find out about her.  Since TDC and her Tony win, she's received recognition, but I wonder why it took so long.  She's the real thing.
