Groups leaders have just received an email. MOULIN ROUGE will play San Francisco's Orpheum theater in the summer of 2021. No indication if it is a tour or a sit-down.

Seems like a tour stop. Sounds like after Chicago they’re headed west. I’d expect them to play Denver and LA around the same time as San Francisco

Thanks for sharing the additional information. Wonder if it will extend month by month? San Francisco is the perfect city for it.

It's a good option to have. Not sure if I'll see it on my next trip to New York City or wait for the tour. It sounds like things are a bit open-ended about the length of the tour stop. Usually, tours will stay for 4 weeks in San Francisco. Not sure if this one will stick around longer.

Moulin Rouge plays in Chicago December 17, 2020 through February 21, 2021.

I assume Moulin Rouge! will go somewhere, or maybe more than one somewhere, between the Chicago stop and the "summer" stop in San Francisco.

It will play as long as the other two cities at the very least.  Eight weeks minimum.

If you can afford to see it in NYC I strongly suggest that you do. Given that there is quite some time before it reaches SF it could even be possible that ticket prices drop.  The relative intimacy of the NYC theatre is the reasoning behind my recommendation.  I saw it from mid-mezzanine.
