Google doesn't always help in this case, better to hear from people on here who have actually been. Any real good wine bars near TS that I could go to before and after a show? I found a decent beer selection with Beer Culture right next to the Hirschfeld, but haven't found a great place to grab some wine. Its my drink of choice if I'm going to the theatre so it'd be just wonderful to have a few options to try/look into when I am in the city next. I appreciate anyone who's willing to help, and, cheers!
B-Side Pizza and Wine Bar on 51st has incredible food. They also right next to Briciola, another wine bar. Hell’s Kitchen has a lot of options for food and drink, the problem is the quality. B-Side has always impressed me.
There's an adorable little place called Wine Escape that is on 44th just past 9th Ave (heading towards 10th). But my favorite places are in the West 50s. Ardesia is sensational. It's on 52nd between 10th and 11th. Small, tapas-style plates and an unreal wine selection (but also a full-ish bar). kilo is on 9th between 55 and 56 (I think). It's tiny but also has some tasty bites and delightful wine. Casellula is another place for terrific wine and small bites/cheese, etc.
Ardesia is my go-to. Great wines, cool atmosphere. Great for after the theater.
