Any other Canadians think this is a bad idea?

The story begins with Germaine, in 1965, who has just won a stamp lottery in Montreal Quebec.. She invites all her friends and two sisters over to help her put these stamps in books. The women all discuss the difficulties they go through day by day while at Germaine's apt. Throughout the story, women are stealing stamp books from Germaine. Germaine had become very full of herself because she has won this lottery and the other women all feel they should have won. Germaine's third sister who has fallen out of the family, Pierette, also comes to visit during this hectic time. The story ends with Germaine having a fall out with all who came over because they stole her stamp books and left. This is a gross oversimplification but hits the high points.

I've sat thru this play 6 times 2x in French. I can't see that there is anything a musicalization will bring to the table.
