The reason for sooooo in the subject line is this....I'm not sure what will actually be playing at the end of January.    I have bought tickets for Moulin Rouge and Hadestown.  Confident they will still be playing.   Have room for four more shows while there.   My wish/hope list is Beetlejuice, Frozen, Tootsie and Mean Girls.    I know so much can change in four months.   Any opinions or insight as to what may have closed by then?  I know this is kind of a silly post, but just don't want to buy too many tickets before knowing what will actually still be running!

I am also going in January and i got tickets for Hadestown, Jagged little Pill, and West Side Story. I think you should be fine with Mean Girls, Frozen, and Beatlejuice. Tootsie might be your toss up

Honestly Tina is a show to see. And I would put jagged little pill ahead of tootsie and even frozen or beetle juice

I saw that Beetlejuice just opened ticket sales through April, so that gives me hope with that show.   All three other shows have tickets on sale beyond January so that is encouraging.    Jagged Little Pill might just over take one of these shows.  TBD.  And so much time before the trip!

If you see affordable seats you like for Jagged Little Pill, you should get them. They have confidently priced their seats with good views (premium and semi premium) high, in my opinion, and there seem to be fewer regular priced tickets with good views in comparison to other shows.

For example, the best view regular priced seats for Tony darling Hadestown have a better view than the best view regular priced tickets for Jagged Little Pill ... that is ballsy. I even bought regular priced tickets to Music Man for about the same price as the mid premium Jagged Little Pill seats .... the view is very very similar at the same price point.

So in my opinion, the inventory of good view regular priced tickets for Jagged Little Pill is low. Maybe that is intentional, I don’t know.

Which is why I can live without JLP.  Their pricing is absurd, IMHO.  I’d love to see the show but refuse to pay those ransom-like prices for an orchestra seat.

I’m sure the show will survive nicely...but it sure as hell won’t be on my dime.

C’est la guerre.

yes ....$300-399 for premium/semi premium seats for that show is too much. Company is going to be $50 to $100 less. They should have stayed at less than the $300 water mark. But I guess this is in some ways a consequence of Hamilton.  After Hamilton, it seems like the producers of most other shows think that people are willing to pay insanely high prices for Broadway tickets .... I think the answer is no, they are not.  Just for special shows like Hamilton, DEH, Bette Midler in Hello Dolly and probably Hugh Jackman in Music Man.

I too decided to pass on JLP due to the excessive premium prices, bloated number of seats considered premium and relatively poor quality of the regular priced seats.
