I liked it as well. It was rich with clips the best being footage of The Taming of the Shrew with Meryl Streep. After watching I immediately went online and bought the Three Penny Opera poster with his image.

I read a very good article in The New Yorker about the documentary and it said that the entire video of The Taming of the Shrew is available at the Performing Arts Library at Lincoln Center NYC.

I thought you couldn't watch shows in the LIbrary's collection without permission from the people who produced a givenb show (was going to say "authors," but obviously in this case that would be ludicrous).
One of those actors who totally commanded the stage. Dracula, Betrayal, Design for living were performances that I will never forget. Yet NINE topped it all.
