How is it possible for something to be beyond off topic on an off topic board? As you said in a post earlier if you don't agree you don't have to respond. And this last post of mine was not directed at you it is to continue to show companies that show blatant hatred to my LBGTQ family. Sorry if you find this "beyond off topic."

Fair enough, just saying this thread was about the Popeyes one then someone attacked me for going to Chick fil a so I’m just saying but it is off topic board maybe it’s looser over here. It’s my LGBTQ family as well!

Excellent example of why we DO NOT give our queer money to anti-LGBTQ companies.  Or vote for anti-LGBTQ politicians.

I notice that the Popeye's altercation took place in Houston.  There's just something about Texans and sandwiches, I guess.

Oh, and this.  If the Moderators tell me to quit posting on this subject, OK.  But I DO NOT take instruction from anyone else here.

I had to go through the whole thread but I can't see one example of anyone "attacking" you. If in this day and age if others are trying to inform as in giving information as to how a company operates is attacking to you so be it.

@Highland Guy We would have done well at protests together. :)

I hope those complaining about eating at Chik-Fil-A have never, ever voted for candidates opposed to marriage equality just because they had a "D" next to their name on the ballot. (I've never done either of those things.)

The altercations have been in many states including New York (Brooklyn).

Yep, I hope they also have an absolute, crystal clean resume. I am sure they have shopped at a store or major corporation who has owners who are antilgbt. I also hate the notion that as someone pointed out, these attacks happened in NY too, not just Texas. Ignorant thinking, frankly.

If I have ever made a purchase (and have), frequented a place that is anti LGBT the minute I am aware of it i stop. Not all of us need a piece of chicken. Don't make assumptions of others. Reflect on your own actions and not worry about anyone else. You wanted this conversation to stop but yet you seem to want to continue it. It is my generation and Highland Guy that have tried to make it easier for the next generation to have it a little better. It is just sad to see it in some circles not to continue to be continued.

Last post from me on the subject.

Yep, and I don't go there anymore. Keep harping me on the fact I went there thats now your problem and not mine, as you yourself have said you have gone to places that are antilgbtq before as well. I do plenty in my homophobic community to make being gay not only relevant but acceptable in my area (New Hampshire) so you also don't need to be making assumptions that I do my best to make the gay community a better and more positive one because Ive been to Chick Fil A 3 times in my life. Please, get over yourself.

Before anyone brought up the fact I went to chick fil a, I said I wasn't going there anymore. Why continue berating me about it? Is there really noting else for you to do? Ive apologized, and said I'm not going anymore. You obsession with me is quite odd.

I think you are right.  But these days, I take along a lawn chair just in case I get a bit too tuckered out!

You have been the voice of reason in this rather wacko thread.  At times I thought we had entered "another dimension".

Seriously, dude.  Stop playing the victim.  You are of NO importance to me.  I don't care about your fortunes, I don't care about your misfortunes.  Move on.

Gotta go have an adult conversation now with someone.

Maybe stop replying to this thread then? You keep replying to me yet you’re telling me to move on, and being childish and posting YouTube videos saying this thread is like the twilight zone. Please, at least own your hypocrisy. This is just pathetic on your end, continuing to harass someone who has apologized and said they wouldn’t go to said restaurant anymore, YOU, sir, need to grow up. If you don’t care about me why are you still posting in this thread then?

I cannot imagine a sandwich so good to be worth braving a Popeyes.

I found nirvana at the Popeye's at Ashland and Division Friday night before catching Nutcracker by The House. Worth the wait.
More delicious than expected.

A great chicken sandwich.
