DROWSY CHAPERONE AUDITION

I am a Soprano but I would call myself a Mezzo Soprano cause I can do both Alto and Soprano parts! I was thinking of auditioning for Janet Van De Graaf in Drowsy Chaperone, but I need a good song to audition with.. I would love for some advice on what song to pick, I audition the 7th of September so I have some time to prep my voice and dancing for it but I need a song with sheet musical aswell so if I could also get a link to sheet music for the song i'd love that, Thank you!

I 100% recommend Adelaide’s Lament from Guys and Dolls. My friend used Show Off did Guys and Dolls and got Adelaide, so there’s a good chance it’ll help ya in the reverse. It’s got Janet’s range and character, and if you want to do an accent with it, you can show the directors some acting and singing at the same time (although you should focus more on your vocals than your acting during a singing audition).
