Oh wow. What a damn joy this movie is. Tense, hilarious, unapologetically violent, bada$$ horror-comedy with a solid head on its shoulders.
Samara Weavings Grace is an excellent new addition to the canon of great Final Girls. I hope we see a lot of Halloween costumes of her in the wedding dress with the mustard yellow Chuck Taylors. Totally fantastic performance and not at all the boring straight-man we usually get as the lead of movies like this. The ensemble is fantastic too. Not a weak link among them. The aunt and the sister were standouts, but it really is a dynamite cast.
I hope this becomes a word-of-mouth hit. I dont see it taking off right away, but I can definitely see a lot of people raving about it to their friends and seeing it multiple times. I know I will.
Seriously the surprise of the summer , brilliantly hilarious, black as night and all over enjoyable. Saw it last week in a packed theatre. Loved it.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one, great premise and the film mostly does it justice. Samara Weaving is terrific as the bride in peril, as is most of the cast, although Andie MacDowell was strangely flat.
