Mezzo/Low Belter Song Suggestions

My voice teacher and I have been on the hunt for some good musical theatre song choices for me to audition with (and hopefully take) to this year's Thespian District competition, but we need some help because nothing seems to fit. Range-wise, mezzo/low belty stuff works great (nothing above a C though), and I'd personally prefer for it to be either more of a fun and upbeat contemporary number, or a more sultry contemporary style, think "Dance 10 Looks 3" (one of our current options haha). Also looking for something not super overdone. Thanks!!

i'm a high alto with a top belt of d5 so i feel where you're coming from! here are a few of my go-tos:

anything goes  - anything goes

nothing - a chorus line

not for the life of me - thoroughly modern millie

till someone gets hurt - mean girls

happily ever after - once upon a mattress

shy - once upon a mattress

the history of wrong guys - kinky boots

when it all falls down - chaplin
