We can still have Anthony Warlow and Phillip Quast, right? Or do we not deserve them lately?

Was just about to say something about Warlow & Quast. Or maybe if they don't want to repeat their roles, Warlow could play Neville and Quast could play Ben Weatherstaff.

Big year for SECRET GARDEN. There's a new film version written by Jack Thorne and starring Colin Firth, too.

Australia?  Considering that this will (I assume) recreate the stunning original production I hope that this is preserved on video and released commercially.  That is probably the only way I will get to see it.

Great - hope it's not the re-written version. And hopefully then a 30th anniversary revival on Broadway.

I am semi-seriously thinking of going. I've been to Australia before and if you think the flight is too long... well, it's just one day in your life. And you reclaim it.

Yes now THAT is exciting. Still keeping everything crossed for Phillip Quast as well though. But I’ll definitely be there in Melbourne now, after missing it the first time around (though I did catch Quast in the RSC production in Stratford). They’re both world class and you’d be a fool to pass-up seeing Anthony Warlow in anything.

You're right Lizzie---it's ONE DAY.  Maybe because Australia is such a long way from the rest of the world, it doesn't stop us from being one of the most travelled nations on the planet. If we want to go somewhere/anywhere, we just get on a plane and Go.

You walk in a door, sit down, eat sleep are entertained and walk out that same door, and Voila! you are where you always dreamed of being.

Welcome to Australia and Secret Garden in Sydney and Melbourne. I only have to fly down from Brisbane to Sydney, an hour away, so no jet lag.

See you there Lizzie

Worked on the original Australia production, watching Quast and Warlow singing Lilly’s eyes 8 times a week is something I’ll never forget. Can’t wait to see it again from the stalls this time.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I’m curious if they’ll make any major changes or if it will just be a faithful recreation of the original.
