Where can I find good monologues to use for auditions for colleges? I've been looking and none of them either really apeal to me or they're not from published plays. I don't know how to look for good plays to find monologues for a female that is long enough. I need help please. And I also need two because they have to be contrasting, either comedic and dramatic, or classical and contemporary. I just need help, thank you :)

You just have to read.  A lot.  Totally avoid the books of collections.  Don't be afraid to piece together something, either.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Like dramamama said, just read plays. You’ll find something. Go to your local library and browse their play collection. If they don’t have many plays, look into interlibrary loan.
