Does anyone have a recommendation for eating here, which one of the venues inside of Eataly (a co-worker recommended this place) to go to if I sort of want to grab something easy and spend less than 90 minutes having lunch. Or a better recommendation of someplace unique in the Flatiron District?
^ ^ ^ GREAT! Thank you! My plans are to be in the Flatiron District from around 10am-12p (after an early morning round-trip Staten Island Ferry ride) and try to have lunch around 11am. I wanted to see THE building in which the area is named, and have admired it from books and pictures since I was a kid. Now, I’ll finally get to see it and have a great lunch. :)
After lunch is a quick trip up to Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler Building for some pictures before heading to the Walter Kerr Theatre for the 2pm matinee and the Al Hirschfield Theatre for the 7pm performance.
This little one-day adventure on Wednesday 8/28 is sort of a continuation of my 60th birthday trip from back in July (and from March), and a celebration all year of my BIG #60.
I’m trying to squeeze in one more journey, maybe in October or early December (have never seen the Rockefeller Christmas tree in person), but this last trip may not involve any shows unless it’s the Radio City Rockettes.
