Hi i just got tickets for an opening night show. And im pretty psyched about it. Also a friend of mine told there are usually a lot of celebrities who usually go to opening night which sounds pretty awesome. My question is : can we (as normal audience members) also meet those visiting celebrities or do they like kinda separate us ? And is there a red carpet ? And do they do the stage door after the show on opening night as well ?

Yes. Your ticket grants you the option for one selfie with every celebrity in attendance. Keep your ticket because you can post date the photos if you don’t want to cram all the excitement into one night

Also, you are TOTALLY allowed to walk the red carpet, all photos will be published on Page Six and TMZ

Ha ha ha ha i didn’t mean it that way i just meant if they separate us or not it’s not about taking pictures and by red carpet i only meant if we can see it . Im an Egyptian theatre student in germany so yeah going to broadway is very much like a once a lifetime opportunity for me i just wanted to ask whats the most i can get from it.

I think it has more to do with if you happen to run into them, the person doesn't seem like they're in a rush or anything and wouldn't mind taking a photo with you. They do have a separate entrance for the "normal" people; when I went to the opening night of Waitress, I went in through the doors you normally go through to get into the theater, but it seemed as though the important people either went in a separate entrance or just came in after. I didn't really notice-it was so hectic that I was more focused on getting inside and getting to my seat! But your opening night ticket only entitles you to the performance. Nothing else is guaranteed, meeting celebrities or otherwise.
