Hands up who has seen all 3---then that person can answer this stupid question.

How about 'which is the best production', answered by the lucky person who has seen all three.

That's funny, my garage band when I was younger was called "Stack Them Cheap and Sell Them High".

Well I’ve only seen the show in London but have friends that flew over to Melbourne at the start of the year to see the show for the first time and they loved it. And they’re both Brits too so the accents were obviously not jarring to them. The set is pretty static for the most part and from the footage I’ve seen identical to both previous productions so honestly I don’t think you’re being presented with a scaled down version in any way. Plus, as with the Palace in London and the Lyric in New York the Princess underwent renovations before the fit-up for Cursed Child so (having been there for Phantom and Beauty and the Beast myself) I’m sure you’ll be seeing the show in a theatre as fitting as those in New York and London.

Much of the magic of The Cursed Child is in the stage craft and illusions - the majority of which are traditional and driven by costume, lighting and pyros which, again would be present and identical. As to the cast - well that’s probably entirely subjective.

I will see Australia’s marquee/front of house seems the less extravagant

Really? I thought it was almost identical to The Palace in London. And both are beautiful buildings in their own right so I don’t think miss the additional sculpture found at The Lyric.

Interestingly the producers had sought (and been granted) planning permission for more extensive signage, and house banners prior to the London premiere but for whatever reason these never materialised.Originally Approved London Frontage

I guess you’re right! Seemed less interesting but the photos are similar!
