Whose Life Is It Anyway? 1979 Tony Award Winner Starring: Tom Conti, Jean Marsh, Philip Bosco
The story of a man involved in an auto accident, left paralyzed from the neck down, asking assistance from the hospital, where he is hospitalized, to help him die.
The play (which previously had a successful London run) first previewed at the Trafalgar Theater (now the Nederlander Theater) on April 7, 1979. It opened there on April 17, 1979. Including previews, it ran a total of 232 performances. It garnered Conti a Tony Award for best actor. It is also received Tony Nominations for Best Play and Best Director.
Every member of the original cast and crew signed it for Robert B. Mooney, who worked in the show.
