She's making a nice living in tv. 6 appearances just in 2019 alone. (I knew i had seen her in something, so went to check....in case it was am old SVU!)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Yes, as a matter of fact - funny that you ask. I swear the following is a true story:
When I was in NYC the last weekend in April seeing Tootsie and Beetlejuice, my family and I saw the Sunday matinee of Gary. About 10 minutes before the show started I looked around me and noticed someone that looked a lot like Debra Monk. I said to my mom, “Debra Monk is sitting right behind us.” She said “no that’s not her.” But I was pretty certain and knew the show was 1 act with no intermission, so my mom said, “alright if you’re that sure, this is your only chance to say something.”
So I turned around and said, “excuse me, are you Debra Monk?” And she smiled and said, “you know... I am.” And I told her how wonderful she was in everything we’d seen her in, that we especially loved curtains. She was sitting with the assoc choreographer from curtains and introduced her. My mom said we loved her on grey’s anatomy and were sad when (spoilers) George died (her son on the show) and she said “yea I was sad when George died too cause it meant I was out of a job.” She was very nice and very sweet. Then the show started and throughout the show her laugh was very infectious.
Again, I swear this is all true. So to respond to the OP, I can confidently say that yes I have heard from Debra Monk, and she is doing well.
She gave a very charming performance in Amy and the Orphans at Roundabout just last year. Since then, I've seen her around at a few shows, including this year's Drama Desk awards.
