He just released a ne recording this summer. Very short but very good. And very personal. He also released a video for the song "45" about the 45th president. Seems it is like a lead off "single".
He is in great voice and this recording feels tighter than the last, which I also really liked and attended the cd release party. Met him there and he was very gracious.
Now that his show is done, hope he comes back to the theatre. Any word on what he may be doing? I looked around to see if he had anything in the works but didn't find anything.
If you like him, definitely listen to his new recording. Saint Tituss.

He was on the view this am - sang one of the songs, it seemed very emotional for him.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Tituss has been extremely focused on getting the musical version of The Preacher’s Wife he wrote off the ground. He wrote the music and lyrics for it. Last year, it had a successful lab and I guess had regional interest.
That being said, I’ve been a huge Tituss fan since he did Guys and Dolls. Part of me wants to say he’d be an obvious and fabulous choice for Ursula in The Little Mermaid remake, but I would love him on stage. Is there a role for him in the Company revival? The other thought is him in a new work, which would be delightful.

Actually his performance this morning on The View is how I realized he had this new recording out. I have been listening to it all day!
Would love to see what he does with The Preacher's Wife.
