Historically, is anyone aware of any shows in the past adding a Sunday evening show around a holiday, say for instance Halloween?
My mom is planning a surprise 65th for my dad that weekend and was hoping to book a Sunday evening show. Ive checked the schedules and was hoping Beetlejuice would have added a show.but nothing scheduled.
Thanks !

Starting Labor Day week, Waitress will have a Sunday night show each weekend.
MOULIN ROUGE has performances on Sunday evenings. Flaws and all, the show is nothing if not a really, really good time. Not cheap, of course, but dad might be worth it (confetti is included)!
It looked like that year, 8 shows had regular Sunday eve performances, two shows added Sunday eve performances, and two shows canceled Sunday eve performances.
When it comes to holiday disrupting schedules, it really depends on the day of the week that was disrupted and when each production thinks would be best to add a show. In this particular case, Monday night was the most commonly used added performance.
My go-to Sunday night show is either BOM or Chicago. both on 49th Street : )

I looked at Beetlejuice schedule that week and it's interesting they added a Monday evening performance that week; and they dont' have any performance on Sunday nov 3rd. If your dad hasn't seen Jersey Boys yet, they also have Sunday evening performances.

Many of shows move a performance to Sunday night on holiday weekends, but adding a Monday makes more sense for Halloween week - the weekend following it is usually the NYC Marathon and most everyone in town is there for that. Or recovering from that.
