Looking into getting tickets for HP in September and trying to decide between a few different ticket locations. I'm usually a center orchestra devotee, but I've heard that for HP being in the dress circle is actually better because there are things that happen you might miss in the orchestra? What would you choose between these 3?

Dress Circle Row C, a few seats in from the side aisle

Orchestra Row O a few seats in from the center aisle

Orchestra Row L about halfway down the row from the center aisle

All the same price so I have no idea what to choose!

Dress circle. I sat in close orchestra, but I think some of the effects would look even better from dress circle.

Having sat in orchestra row N, I would say row O near the center would be a pretty great seat. You wouldn’t miss anything.

As resident BWW Cursed Child fanatic, I’ve seen the show many times from nearly every section of the theater, so lol here are my two cents:

I will always recommend Orchestra over Dress Circle. The main reason being that the dress circle at the Lyric is very far away from the stage, so even from Row C you feel a bit too far back for my taste.

At the end of the day, Cursed Child is a 5.5 hour family drama with some awesome visuals. While I’ve enjoyed the show from the last row of the balcony, box seats, and the dress circle, I ultimately always have the best experience from the orchestra because of how invested you get in the story, and allow the visuals to kind of consume you. For those reasons, Row O or L would be great!

Also good to note that the seats in the sides of the dress circle are very far off center, as the center section has a massive amount of seats.

Enjoy the show!

I would say Row L! I have sat in many different rows in the front orchestra and it’s honestly the best view! Row J is a great view for first time people and you can see faces! It’s awesome seeing reactions and emotions. I would also get as close as you can to the aisle. There is a little surprise. That is all I will say.

I sat in the Balcony row F seat 19. I was afraid it might not be a great seat but I would definitely sit there again. Especially for one particular effect. It was a great seat.

Just give the world Love.

I have tickets for early August, and I’m sitting in the left box in the 4th seat (farthest right from the stage). I know it says “obstructed view” but from the pictures i’ve seen on A View From My Seat it looks to be a great view. Should I be worried about missing any major effects/scenes?

I sat row A of the dress circle and thought it was a great seat. I love having an overview of the whole stage. The Lyric is bigger than other Broadway houses but I didn't feel removed from the action at all. The aforementioned moment at the end of Part One was amazing from my seat. There's a reveal at the end of the first act of Part Two that was particularly impressive from the dress circle as well.

I sat in a box seat and thought it was a great view. We were in a 2-person box on the same level as the dress circle. It was lovely to have a whole box to ourselves and I didn’t feel like we missed anything important.

I agree. I've seen it from orchestra center row F (on the center aisle), and second row center of the front mezzanine. While certain short-term special effects look great from the mezzanine, I felt very removed from the show overall (this is a very large theatre). I think the show as a whole is better from the front-to-middle of center orchestra.
