I haven't seen ''Moulin Rouge'' issue any policy about standing room so far. They're probably waiting until after the opening. The Hirschfeld's previous tenant, ''Kinky Boots,'' did sell SRO for $30.
By the way, the header for this thread probably should've been something like ''Moulin Rouge'' Standing Room if only to distinguish it from the other ''MR'' threads already posted.

Standing Room tickets are NEVER sold in advance.
they are only available if the performance is SOLD OUT
O.o
I find this page to have a good current list of Rush, Lottery and SRO options for shows. It is not always up to date, but give you a quick overview. I then go to the show's official website for details.

With the opening next week, we might hear of their SRO policy soon.
By the looks of their grosses, they are selling over capacity so I have to believe that overage is SRO - looks like 2 per performance.

I asked about SRO last Friday. Was told that it wasn't offered yet but they expect to after opening.
Bought a expensive ($ 199) seat (J102) at the box office an hour before curtain

I asked about it on Saturday (7/27) for the matinee and they still weren't offering SRO. They said they had no information yet on when they might be offering it.
