I fell in love with this production in LONDON. I hope they keep most of the cast in tact.

Yes, please!!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I’d want to see it for Patti but I think I’d have a hard time with the changes and ultimately leave more irritated than entertained.

I’m surprised this has taken so long to announce a transfer

I’m impatient for a transfer announcement too, but they have plenty of time to announce a March/April transfer.

All of the lyrical and book revisions were literally done by Sondheim himself, with guidance from Elliot. It’s not like some random hack did them.

To be fair, Sondheim isn’t always great at making changes to his stuff. For the most part, I liked this COMPANY but there definitely are parts that in my opinion didn’t work at all. So hopefully they can fix it.

I loathe Sondheim and Lapone, but I really enjoyed this production.

Elliot was fine, Screechy was screechy, it was the amazing men who truly stole the show x

Any guesses on what theatre this could take? Here's a list of ones that don't have any announcement for the Spring

Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (after Betrayal)

Booth Theatre (after Freestyle Love Supreme)

Broadway Theatre

Cort Theatre (after Derren Brown)

John Golden Theatre

Longacre Theatre

Lyceum Theatre

The Broadway is way too bug. The Longacre is apparently taken. The Booth & the Golden are too small(IMO). I could see this fitting in nicely into the Jacobs.

I think the Jacobs is ideal as well.

That is absolutely true.  The changes he made to 'Merrily We Roll Along' and 'Into the Woods' after their initial Broadway runs hurt more than they helped.  Still, I'd like to see a new production of 'Company' on Broadway.  Maybe it would help erase the memory of that godawful production of John Doyle's "everybody-plays-an-instrument" version in 2006.

I'm predicting the Jacobs as well, hopping in after Betrayal finishes its run. Limited run from early spring through the end of summer, just in time to score some Tonys.

I heard a rumor a while back that they were eyeing the Jacobs.

Loved the last COMPANY and this one sounds so intriguing. I'm just really hoping Patti comes with it.

I too saw this amazing production in London, and yes even though i was thoroughly enraptured with all gender changes made, i saw it the very first week it started its limited engagement and thought a couple of the numbers didn't work...for various reason including the cast, which i thought in some places,  were not strong enough actors...but in talking to others who saw this production later in its run, it seems they worked out a lot of those kinks...IMHO Johnny Bailey has to make the crossing to be on Broadway...enough said!

Oh one more thing, i would cross the US to see this again on Broadway...Patti shines brighter than ever as Joanne...there, now enough said!

Saw this 9 times on the West End!  Fingers crossed on this transfer. Would be great if the whole London cast transferred – like The Ferryman.

I was just going to post that a transfer of the original London cast as did the FERRYMAN limited run with A New York cast take over after that. With possibly Stephanie J. taking over the lead,

I don't understand people asking if Patti will "come over" with the show. She lives here, a block away from me as a matter of fact.

The asking Patti is a result of Patti having originally said she was done with musicals here in NY. Then she said her determination to work with Marianne Elliot was a primary reason she agreed to do Company in London. Now that she’s done that, she has no obligation to continue with it. I can very well see it being a la original Les Mis case, where she overall had a good experience but it had a few bumps in the road and at the end, did not come to NY with it.

Also worth noting that she also did Sunset Boulevard in London and then didn't do it in NY.

I know those were entirely different circumstances, and also it's not fair to compare her experience on Company to experience in Sunset. I'm not really making a point one way or the other, I think it's intriguing that if she doesn't reprise her role in Company, it will be the 3rd time she has played a role in London and not come back to play it when it transferred to Broadway. Which is obviously an unusual situation for a New York-based actor.
