There are a couple instances I can think of where a show benefitted from their performance on the Tonys, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder and Memphis. Though they both also ended up winning Best Musical in their respective years.

I'd say Jessie Mueller's Waitress performance helped the show during Hamilton fever.

Ya I really think the thing that helped those shows was the Best Musical win, not the performances. Although I loved Memphis’s performance

The Tony performance of GRAND HOTEL is credited to turning around the future of the show.

No, but a TV commercial saved the original PIPPIN.

I think the recent Tonys performance of Beetlejuice certainly boosted its attendance. Too soon to say whether it 'saved' the show, but definitely helped.

So did having Sara Bareilles' name prominently featured everywhere. The marketing for this show is, and has always been, outstanding.

More like Sara's name being attached to it. The show was very well sold leading up to the Tony's.

I’m remembering (but without details) that the Tony performance helped Bandstand last a bit longer

That performance was really good, and it was helped by having an intro from Jill Biden.  Do you think it would have helped The Prom to have a bigger star, maybe an LGBTQ+ one, introduce the show - maybe Ellen DeGeneres?

The Prom suffers from just being bland. The name is bland. And, I think the advertising focused too much on the lesbian teenagers, and should have focused on the 4 leads who are hilarious and Broadway legends.

I've heard it generally accepted that THE WEDDING SINGER's performance on the Tonys helped it stay open. Although, in nearly all these cases, I would say it didn't exactly "save" the show, more like delayed the inevitable.

Likewise, doing several numbers on "The Ed Sullivan Show" saved "Camelot".
