Did anyone go last night? Curious to hear some feedback.

I was there last night. I'm a fan of hers and enjoyed it very much. It felt much like a traditional Regina Spektor concert. She chatted a bit, but not much; the focus was on the music. Two dancers (one male, one female) did accompany some songs (I wish I could tell you their names right now, but I don't have my Playbill with me; I can share them later). One was a tap dancer, and Regina even danced with him during one song, which was cool. She did a short bit devoted to Broadway: she told the audience that The Sound of Music had opened on Broadway in the Lunt-Fontanne, and in honor of that show, she performed These Are a Few of my Favorite Things with Amanda Palmer and a male performer whose name I don't remember (sorry!). It was fun; he played the accordion, and gave Regina a brief accordion lesson and let her try (she did well!). She did seem nervous, and there were some technical difficulties. For example, Regina's husband Jack Dishel (Only Son) came out to join her once, and his guitar had major sound/feedback issues, so they pushed that song back in the show. A couple times she needed a microphone in a certain place and it wasn't there. She seemed to gesture a lot to a sound person backstage to adjust the sound in her ears. I imagine the show will be smoother the next few nights, but I still had a great time.

Regina Spektor's show was amazing tonight. Lin Manuel Miranda joined her onstage for a duet of "Dear Theodosia" at the end of the night. Nearly two hours after the show, Regina did sign autographs and was very gracious with those who waited. Lin signed and took pictures near the main entrance a few minutes before that. It appeared that he was trying to avoid Regina's spotlight at the stage door. It didn't work, as people ran down the thirty feet or so to greet him.
