Audition songs for Asian teen girl#1

Looking for suggestions for audition songs for Asian teen girl.who is an Alto/Soprano 2.  Musicals we have found with Asian characters are so out-dated! (South Pacific, Flower Drum Song, etc.)  Miss Saigon and King and I songs are for sopranos.

Do they have to be as an asian character? As an asian actor myself I've had voice teacher throw asian songs as me, but realized most of those aren't my type at all. If for some reason you're looking specifically for asian characters it will be hard as we are one of the least represented groups on broadway. Unless you are willing to sing offensive stereotypical songs you will be almost out of luck because the industry is so bad with asian representation. Try looking at...
