There was no check. You dont pay to create a parody.
And btw...parodies dont usually mock the original, it just imitates it. (For the people that keep mentioning that.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

1 : a literary or musical work in which the style of an author or work is closely imitated for comic effect or in ridicule, but only after said parody is cleared and approved by the original author of said work and given the ok by the majority of said works fan base along with repeated mentions before during and after the parody, clearly crediting the author of the material the parody was based on and giving any and all money to the original author and making sure all attention said parody receives is, in some way, forwarded to the original source.
