CHARLIE PRICE IS HOT! |
guess you like older, bearded men. looks much too old for the role in that trailer. and hot? um...OK.
The actor’s name is Killian Donnelly and he grew back his beard later in the run as he was clean-shaven when he started his run in London’s KINKY BOOTS.

I saw Andy Kelso and quite enjoyed his performance, but I still think Stark Sands epitomizes what I thought Charlie would look like. And he had a great voice. Both of them did.
Tickets on sale now, and coming to a theater near you...

I agree.
And, no, this Charlie Price is Not Hot.
SO glad they filmed this at all! (Wishing, probably hopelessly, for a Blu-ray release!) I liked Killian Donnelly when I saw him on Broadway, but the beard does seem weird for me - though probably just because I'm not used to seeing Charlie with a beard. In my perfect world they would've filmed my favorite Lola and Charlie which was J. Harrison Ghee and Andy Kelso (though I never saw them in the show together).
Here's a Charlie with some cake.

When I heard Killian was returning to Kinky Boots for, like, three days in the middle of the Les Mis tour I was scratching my head. I was thinking about how they'd have to substitute a false beard for him from then on just for a three day performance. I forgot about it entirely until I saw the trailer, and had a nice guffaw seeing Valjean wearing those red stilettos. I do think it was a beautiful and appropriate touch to bring back the original leading actors to play their respective roles in the version of the show that will be infinitely immortalised, but also... I don't know if I'll ever be able to distance that image.

DaYUM. Those pants were so tight I could tell his religion.
Saw the showing today in King Of Prussia,PA. If I weren't a fan of David Cook, I would have never known Charlie had to be clean shaven(It was a big shock when we got that first pic of him as Charlie). As mentioned before,Killian took a few days off from Les Mis to film this so that's why he had Valjean hair.
Well my theater decided to cut off the beginning for some reason (My friend in NJ said that her theater had all of Don's monologue) and it started in the middle of the opening number. The people who never saw the show before looked confused .
Then for the finale, it was dubbed with this loud commercial with music that sounded like heavy metal. Gave my mom a headache and the woman next to me was covering her ears. Then, they rewinded it and they were able to get the whole thing. It went an extra 12 minutes I believe. Just sent the theater an email

The Act 1 trousers Killian Donnelly wears in the movie showing should make you very happy.
I saw the show at the movies the other day and really enjoyed it. I only had one opportunity to see it in NYC and loved it. I saw the show with Brendon Urie (I was not a PATD fan) but I saw him rehearsing "Soul of a Man" on youtube and bought a ticket immediately. Don't know why I had never seen it before but after seeing him rehearse it sold me on the show. It's a such a feel good show and I remember leaving the theatre with such an amazing feeling of happiness. I wish I could go and see it again but unfortunately it's closed.
But speaking of "Hot" Charlie Price's, yeah, i'm going with Brendon - he's a very good looking guy. I enjoyed seeing Killian yesterday though, he did a great job.
I hope this gets released to iTunes or on Blu-Ray or something because it was nice to see it again.
