I am seeing Phantom in July with my 7 and 9 year olds.  They have both seen several shows, so I am sure they will like it, but am wondering where we should sit.  My best options are:

front mezzanine, first row, seats 13-19, or

front mezzanine row D seats 10-16

Row D is a little closer to the center.  My 7 year old is 50 inches tall (4'2"PHANTOM - Front row mezzanine for a child?.  My daughter is 60 inches tall and I'm not concerned about her.  Is the little one going to be able to see?  The box office says yes, and that they have a limited number of booster seats too.  Worth it to get front row mezzanine?  How much of a risk am I taking with the little guy?

It's likely that in Row D, you will need the booster seats for the kids. I'd go with first row.

Completely agree, most likely there'll be an adult sitting in the seat in front of your child, so that's bound to limit their eyesight. I'd go with the first row and get to the theater early to be able to snag a booster seat.

Row A, all the way!  The nice thing about being on the left is your view of the Masquerade scene will not be obstructed like it would be on the right.  On Saturday night, very few people asked for a booster.  There were no kids I saw at the show but I do agree to secure one, just get there for when seating first opens.  They started seating at 7:32.

Get him a booster as soon as you walk in - you can return it if he doesn't need it.  and I agree: front row.  It's a great place for nearly every show. (My favorite place to be, actually.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I agree with others. Definitely row A mezz. Great view of the chandelier (plus no worries of it falling on you). Great view of Masquerade by sitting in left mezz. I hope you guys will love it!

From what I recall, doors open around 40 mins before the performance starts but you're led down to the downstairs lounge during that time. Ten minutes later seating opens. Definitely ask for a booster seat. I've never used one but I've noticed some theaters have comfy pillow-type booster seats (like the ones at FROZEN) or hard plastic shell types (like the one at Beetlejuice/School of Rock.) Hopefully Phantom has the comfy pillow-type booster seats.

Enjoy and have a great time!
