Man, these tickets went fast and had trouble getting in, but finally secured some seats. Not the best, but still in the building. Anyone else going?

Not surprised at how fast they went and so glad i was able to snag one.  I am also in the back, but like you I am just excited to be in the room!

buckle up Theatre Enthusiast's, its time for another rant about Ticketmaster!!!

I went through the hassle of buying seats during the second release of tickets (cheapest ones all the way in the corner of the rear mezz) today I look and see that there are seats not only several rows closer, but dead center for a cheaper price.

So i called Ticketmaster to ask about an exchange and got a lecture about how they don't set the price for the show and because the new tickets are cheaper an exchange is not possible. My only option would be to return the one I have and buy a new one (the tickets were a very generous gift from someone and I don't want to go through the hassle of getting them involved)

I know it was a risk to buy early because prices change based on demand, but with how quickly the tickets went during the initial release, I didn't want to risk it.  Now Im just stuck feeling like Im being penalized for buying early

To be fair it probably isn't ticketmaster's fault as they said - they are just the face for a bunch of producers that set the policies, release the tickets and set the ticket prices. Nice scapegoat the Producers can hide behind.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

So excited to attend this event. Anyone think it will be possible to catch a glimpse of SS or JRB at the stage door?
