I have an Audience Rewards ticket for tomorrow night at 7 pm. I am no longer able to attend. Well, technically I am able to attend but Ive got a horrible cough, Id rather not cough through the entire show. Cough medicine helps but not enough and then I get that trying to hold it in and it ends in a 2 minute spell. Would rather not put myself and fellow attendees through that.
Does this show post date tickets? Is that the right term? Ive never had to do this before, not sure what to do. Do I ask Audience Rewards or the box office? Would it be better to contact the appropriate party tonight, tomorrow, or can it be later? Thank you for any guidance!
If it was a limited time offer (a "comp" to AR) something like the 1,000 points + $60
Then it will print with a $0.00 price on it and not be able to be post dated.
However, If it was a regular award say something like 12,000 showpoints or 8,000 + cash then it should print at the full price and be used just like any other ticket and be able to be post dated.
Most arrangments cannot be made in advance.
Let me know if I can be further help.
It's worth giving a call to Audience Rewards tonight and let us know what they say so we can use the info here for future reference.
Feel better! I'm just getting over a cold myself seasonal allgeries suck
Thank you both! I was able to call Audience Rewards this afternoon. They put me on hold while they contacted the Box Office. Box Office let them return the ticket so the Audience Rewards deposited the points back into my account. Was looking forward to tonight but at least now I have the points back to hopefully redeem for a future date when in better health.
