I would like to ask if anyone has tried that tour and can give their opinion on whether it is worth the time/money.

It seems to be 1.5 hours of walking around the theater district with stories/explanations and then 1 hour inside the New Amsterdam Theatre. I'm not sure how much of the theatre they would allow guests to see.

Debating whether I should try this or I should spend the time instead to see a show (possibly Oklahoma ot Mean girls) .

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Show. No question.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Iíve done the tour. I thought it was interesting and did learn a couple things I didnít know. Went with my 6 year old daughter and she thought it was super cool to go on the stage and try on some of the Disney costumes from the Disney shows. However, I have to agree if I had the choice to see a show or go on this tour, Iíd choose a show. Especially if I didnít have my daughter with me.
