Earlier in the week I noticed the Colonial posted a teaser for an announcement coming later this week.  Tonight, I was there for an event and they confirmed that tomorrow at 10 am they're announcing a Pre-Broadway engagement.  I know with only about 10.5 hours to go until then there's not a lot of time for speculation, but I thought why not put it out there and see what people are thinking.  Any guesses?  Maybe Mrs. Doubtfire?

Ah, this is exciting!!! Not sure what to expect here... Doubtfire isn’t a bad guess at all. Six is already playing Art, Once Upon A One More Time will play Chicago, so Doubtfire seems most likely for what’s been announced

Hmmm...wonder why the Colonial’s website is showing “Magic Mike” still scheduled for Nov. 30 - Jan. 5. Didn’t I recently read that the show lost its entire creative team?

Their site is still selling tickets as of this writing.  Resurrection?

Creative team left but the show was never cancelled. So no resurrection.

Wasn't there a Marilyn Monroe musical in the works by Levitt/Houston that was rumored to tryout in Boston?

David Byrne's American Utopia is playing from September 11 - September 28, followed by a 16 week run on Broadway at the Hudson starting in October! Not sure about this, I don't know too much about it.

For what it’s worth, their website lists it as a “theatrical concert”.  So clearly not a book musical per se.

I gather it's "Springsteen on Broadway," with someone who has a much smaller following than The Boss.
