Watched the entire series a week ago, and very much enjoyed it. Especially impressed by Applegate.

I starting watching the other day and am about half way through. The two actresses work well together. I have an idea where it might be going. I also think the 2 children are good as well especially the older one. It is interesting to watch Applegate now that she is middle aged. She has matured as an actress.

This show is great, I've watched the entire 1st season twice already because there are so many nuances to the murder mystery.  Plus, as a woman who grew up as a teen/young adult when they were playing the same on TV, it's very cool to see both of these actresses middle-aged (and without having any work done and still looking beautiful and functionally expressive and...normal). They work well together and the story is layered and well-woven addressing plenty of real-life issues along the way. Recommending it if you haven't seen it!

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had the practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --Alice in Wonderland

I thought that we would find out that the husband was already dead before he hit the car. I guess there is still a possibility of that.
